This is a first in my small family.
My brother and his wife celebrated their
50th Wedding Anniversary.
Married August 16, 1969
Then.....
And now.
In today's world, I feel the commitment of marriage is taken way too lightly.
Dale and Beverly are examples of
sticking to your promise no matter what.
Life has dealt them
many storms yet many rainbows.
Through it all, they were committed to each other.
I was 11 years old when they married. I have only 1 sibling. This wonderful man is 11 years older than me and I always wanted a sister.
On that day, God blessed him with his soulmate and me with a sister.
They have 2 children,
6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren!
It was a beautiful evening of stories, laughter and even a few tears.

with many more years together.
